====== How to send log and crash files (Windows) ======

If //Astrosphere// crashes, please send me your log and crash files so I can investigate the issue.

===== 1) Player Logs =====
Open this folder (copy into Windows Explorer address bar):

C:\Users\<YourWindowsUserName>\AppData\LocalLow\Mario Jacob\Astrosphere\

You should see:
  * Player.log
  * Player-prev.log (if it exists)

===== 2) Crash Files =====
Open this folder (copy into Windows Explorer address bar):

%LOCALAPPDATA%\Temp\Mario Jacob\
</code>

Inside you should see a folder named **Astrosphere** → **Crashes**.  
Open the most recent crash folder. It usually contains:
  * crash.dmp
  * error.log
  * maybe also output_log.txt

If the folder does **not exist**, then no crash files have been created yet.

===== 3) Pack the files =====
  * Select **Player.log** and the newest **Crashes** folder
  * Right click → Send to → Compressed (zipped) folder
  * Email the ZIP to: [[mario@mariojacob.com?subject=Astrosphere%20Crash%20Report|mario@mariojacob.com]]

===== 4) System info (optional but helpful) =====
Please also include your system information:
  * Windows version (10 / 11)
  * CPU, GPU, RAM

===== 5) Short description of what happened =====
Please write a short description of the crash, for example:
  * What were you doing? (travelling, mining, in combat, on the map, etc.)
  * Did it happen once or multiple times?
