How to send log and crash files (Windows)

If Astrosphere crashes, please send me your log and crash files so I can investigate the issue.

Open this folder (copy into Windows Explorer address bar):

C:\Users\<YourWindowsUserName>\AppData\LocalLow\Mario Jacob\Astrosphere\

You should see:

• Player.log
• Player-prev.log (if it exists)

Open this folder (copy into Windows Explorer address bar):

%LOCALAPPDATA%\Temp\Mario Jacob\

Inside you should see a folder named Astrosphere → Crashes. Open the most recent crash folder. It usually contains:

• crash.dmp
• error.log
• maybe also output_log.txt

If the folder does not exist, then no crash files have been created yet.

• Select Player.log and the newest Crashes folder
• Right click → Send to → Compressed (zipped) folder
• Email the ZIP to: mario@mariojacob.com

Please also include your system information:

• Windows version (10 / 11)
• CPU, GPU, RAM

Please write a short description of the crash, for example:

• What were you doing? (travelling, mining, in combat, on the map, etc.)
• Did it happen once or multiple times?
