Version 0.38 — Released July 11, 2026
Update 0.38 deepens the cargo loop and tightens ship handling. Persistent cargo drops in the sector tie combat and salvage together; cargo weight now affects flight dynamics; every ship in the game gets a new sprite set.
Highlights:
- Persistent cargo drops in the sector — destroyed cargo spawns as lootable containers, saved per sector and per savegame
- Cargo weight affects flight handling — a full hold makes ships up to 10% heavier, ~9.1% slower, and less rotation-agile
- New sprites for all spaceships — every ship in the game has been re-sprited
- Blueprint overhaul — 800 total, category icons, duplicate merge, station-computer manager, pirate multi-drops
- Tooltip system overhaul — more robust and noticeably faster
