Latest Update
Latest Public Release
Version 0.36 — Released June 27, 2026
This update improves the way ships behave in space. NPC ships now react more dynamically, pirates use more varied behavior patterns, and civilian ships move and respond in a more natural way. The update also adds a new hyperspace arrival effect and expands repair options during exploration.
Highlights:
- Smarter NPC behavior — pirates and civilian ships react more naturally, NPCs can flee into hyperspace when heavily damaged
- Sector repairs — repair your ship at space stations inside sectors (3× the cost of your home station)
- Hyperspace arrival effect — new visual effect when ships jump out of hyperspace
Latest Beta Build
Version 0.37-b1 (beta) — Released June 28, 2026
This update refreshes the Streamworks integration under the hood and renames the Build ship action to Buy ship to better reflect what it does. The window has been redesigned with more space and a clearer layout for faster ship comparison and purchasing.
Highlights:
- Streamworks integration updated — improved stability and performance behind the scenes
- Build ship → Buy ship — renamed to better reflect the action; the window got more room and a cleaner layout
- Beta warning — saves from v0.37-b1 may not be backward compatible; back up your save before testing
Beta: This build is available on the beta branch and may change before the public release.
